Actor and FASHNN Correspondent, Christian Moralde has recently been selected to host the 2004 Debut Fashion Show for the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising on Friday, February 27, 2004 at 5 p.m. The annual event, in conjunction with the 76th Annual Academy Awards honors Oscar nominated costumes from such motion pictures as The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, Seabiscuit, and The Last Samurai. Also showcased will be original designs from up and coming designers at FIDM. This year’s event will take place at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, the same venue in which awards shows such as The Teen Choice Awards, MTV Movie Awards, and The People’s Choice Awards have been held.
