2004 in Review

I’m getting “there.”
I’m not “there” yet, but I know that I’m on my way.
Mark my words. This year has been a 365 day pathway to bigger and better
things. I’ve accomplished a lot.  I’ve done a lot.  And, I’m proud of a lot.I booked
a job
reporting for an entertainment program, HERE & NOW to be seen throughout
California.  I’ve also had opportunities to meet with execs
from the Fine Living Network, TV Guide Channel, Spike, Bravo, and
Discovery.  (I guess the big photo shoot that I had this year paid off.)  A
personal accomplishment is registering an idea for a television show, that
I co-founded, at the Writers Guild of America.Living life to the fullest this
year was key.  After spending many days by my mother’s hospital bed
and realizing the value of life, I made this a priority.  Thank God, my mom’s
fine now.  She is what drives me to be the best and do my best. I’ve done
my best in showcasing scenes of my one-man show in a local Santa
Monica theatre.  (I’ve done my best with the classes to develop the show
itself.)  I did my family proud by hosting a Fashion show at Barker Hangar
for 4,000 guests and I did my family proud by helping chose the right
winner, as a judge, for a preliminary Miss USA pageant.I’ve been fortunate
to take advantage of what each day brings to me.
Whether it be taking a plane to Las Vegas with Chyna (from the WWF) or
driving through a rain forest listening to reggae music on the island of
Kauai, I’ve taken in each moment.
Some of these moments are almost too weird to be true:
*….Having TWO different birthday parties ONE WEEK APART at a high rise
restaurant with an entirely large group of DIFFERENT friends at each
party…same time….same place….same shirt….different friends……
*…..Finding myself in the middle of a Republican Party protest in Times
Square, NYC….
*……obtaining over 700 feedback points on Ebay…..
*……watching top FEMALE Broadway stars undress backstage in the women’s
dressing room at Radio City Music Hall during the Tony Awards…..
These are definitely one of a kind moments. My FAVORITE moments include
judging a national competition for Speech & Debate as well as getting new paint,
new carpeting, new blinds, a new toilet, new locks , new screens, and virtually
a new apartment.  I also very much enjoyed seeing more Broadway shows:
HAIRSPRAY, AVENUE Q, and I AM MY OWN WIFE.  (And if you haven’t seen
WICKED yet, PLEASE do……) All in all, I feel like I’ve come along way from
January 1, 2004.  I definitely feel that this past year was not in vain.
I feel like it’s all leading up………to something good.
